TL;DR
Lead Employee Relations Partner (EMEA) (Employment Law/Employee Relations): Leading employee relations policies, investigations, conflict resolution, and organizational change initiatives across EMEA with an accent on complex cross-border matters, local legal compliance, and stakeholder partnership. Focus on advising managers and HR teams, analyzing ER risks and trends, and guiding restructures, redundancies, consultations, and mergers and acquisitions.

Location: United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Salary: £60,600–£81,850 per year, plus potential performance-based bonus and restricted stock unit awards.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain employee relations policies and practices aligned with EMEA employment legislation and organizational values.
  • Act as the regional Employee Relations subject matter expert, supporting the United Kingdom, Ireland, Bulgaria, France, and additional jurisdictions.
  • Advise managers, employees, and HR Business Partners on performance management, disciplinary processes, grievances, accommodations, absences, and separations.
  • Partner with the global investigation team on workplace investigations and facilitate the resolution of interpersonal and team conflicts.
  • Design and deliver training on employee relations practices, employment obligations, workplace policies, and manager capabilities.
  • Lead ER support for restructures, workforce transitions, mergers and acquisitions, collective consultations, redundancies, and transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Employee Relations, Human Resources, Employment Law, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations practices across EMEA, especially in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Bulgaria, and France.
  • Experience with grievance management, disciplinary processes, workplace investigations, sensitive employee matters, and cross-border case resolution.
  • Experience supporting organizational change in multinational environments, including restructures, redundancies, collective consultations, mergers and acquisitions, and post-merger integrations.
  • Fluent English is required. Experience with HRIS, case management, workforce analytics, and reporting tools is preferred.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and other EMEA jurisdictions.
  • Proficiency in one or more additional European languages.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
