Test Technician II - RF (Antenna & RF)

What you will do

• Create antenna and RF test setups in collaboration with engineers.
• Execute test plans, troubleshoot complex electronics and RF circuitry, and report findings concisely and promptly.
• Use and maintain laboratory instrumentation, including anechoic chambers, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, automated power supplies, and electronic loads.
• Organize antenna testing facilities, equipment, and resources.
• Set up and measure sensitive electronics, including QFNs, chip-scale ICs, RF cables, and 0201 passive components.
• Fabricate clean, intricate, and well-documented test setups and provide feedback on test documentation.

Requirements

• Must be eligible under United States Government Space Technology Export Regulations as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee, refugee, or another protected individual, or be eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
• At least two years of directly related experience as an Engineering Technician.
• Hands-on experience with active electronics and laboratory instruments such as DMMs and power meters.
• Ability to read and work from drawings, diagrams, schematics, and test procedures.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, organization, communication, collaboration, and deadline-management skills.
• Comfort with MS Teams and SharePoint.

Nice to have

• Direct experience testing active phased arrays or AESAs.
