RN- Registered Nurse- Pediatrics, Adult Med Surg- New Competitive Pay!

Location: Lowell General Hospital, Pediatrics - Main Campus; onsite. Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

Salary: $37.50–$68.47 per hour, based on full-time equivalent.

What you will do

• Provide direct professional nursing care to pediatric and adult medical-surgical patients and their families.
• Conduct and document clinical assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Use nursing judgment to adapt care plans to changes in patient health status.
• Educate patients and families, support informed decisions and advance directives, and coordinate discharge plans and referrals.
• Manage patient assignments, delegate care according to patient needs and team member skills, and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team.
• Support new staff transitions, precept colleagues, participate in committees, and contribute to performance improvement and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Massachusetts RN licensure required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Department-specific certifications relevant to the patient population may be required.
• RN experience must meet the applicable career pathway level: Level I, less than 12 months; Level II, 12 months to less than 3 years; Level III, 3 to less than 8 years; or Level IV, 8 years.
• Knowledge of the nursing process and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to lift and turn patients occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform fine manual patient-handling tasks.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
