What you will do
- Deliver Hindi localization work on time and in line with market needs.
- Monitor localized content quality, provide vendor feedback, lead arbitrations, and escalate recurring issues.
- Oversee localization product testing, bug reporting, and management of style guides, glossaries, and translation memories.
- Assess and onboard language service providers and maintain relationships with vendor linguists.
- Provide urgent marketing translations and consultation on transcreation, voice-over, and post-editing.
- Inform central localization strategy, identify customer-journey opportunities, and facilitate research, experimentation, and A/B testing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a similar online localization role.
- Native Hindi speaker with fluent English.
- Proven experience in translation, localization, and language quality management.
- Experience managing linguistic teams or multiple language service providers.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end localization processes and localization technology, including CAT tools, TMS, machine translation, and post-editing.
- Experience with internationalization, product testing, bug reporting, and stakeholder communication.
