What you will do

• Plan, prepare, and deliver undergraduate and graduate biology lectures, seminars, and laboratory courses.
• Develop course syllabi, select instructional materials, and design exams, quizzes, papers, and other assessments.
• Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and evaluate learning outcomes.
• Use active learning, discussion, collaboration, hands-on activities, and innovative teaching technologies.
• Provide office hours, academic guidance, feedback, and mentoring to students.
• Follow university policies, academic integrity standards, accreditation requirements, and Campus Security Authority responsibilities.

Requirements

• Earned master’s degree in Biology or a closely related field from an accredited university.
• At least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to teach at a level appropriate for undergraduate and graduate instruction and collaborate professionally with students, staff, and faculty.
• Completion of credential verification and a criminal history investigation is required for this security-sensitive position.

Nice to have

• Previous face-to-face or online collegiate teaching experience.
