Manufacturing Technician II (Next-Generation Sequencing)

Location: On-site in Boulder, Colorado, United States. Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm.

Salary: $21–$24 per hour, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Manufacture next-generation sequencing library preparation reagents and products using standard operating procedures.
• Work independently and collaboratively within the xGen Manufacturing team.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization.
• Identify documentation and process changes, deviations, product non-conformances, and other quality or manufacturing system issues.
• Follow ISO 13485 guidelines and established manufacturing procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field such as Biology, Genetics, Chemistry, or a related life science discipline; alternatively, an associate’s degree with one year of laboratory experience.
• Demonstrated micropipetting skills with reagents and solutions of varying viscosities, including buffers, enzymes, DNA, and RNA.
• Ability to follow defined protocols and procedures.
• Ability to work on-site in Boulder, Colorado.

Nice to have

• Experience with next-generation sequencing technologies.
• Experience in a regulated environment, especially ISO 13485.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment such as liquid handlers, vial labelers, and vial cappers.
