Salary: $137,000–$199,475 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills.

What you will do

• Represent hirify.global before District of Columbia, state, and local governments and business organizations.
• Develop and execute annual public policy strategies and advocacy programs for legislative initiatives.
• Analyze legislation and policy developments, assess business impact, and recommend actions to senior executives.
• Build relationships with elected officials, government agencies, business coalitions, industry advocates, and internal business units.
• Monitor bills, speeches, and statements; prepare written testimony and serve as a witness at hearings.
• Negotiate public affairs vendor agreements and manage external contract lobbyists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in state and community relations.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local legislative processes.
• Ability to negotiate with government and community leaders and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to evaluate complex business scenarios and present recommendations clearly to varied audiences.
• Business acumen and knowledge of business strategy, processes, and energy industry policy issues.
