Accounting Intern- Summer 2027

Location: Richfield, Ohio, USA; onsite work in the Richfield office is required for Summer 2027.

What you will do

• Assist with accounting tasks involving prepaid assets, fixed assets, other assets, and other liabilities.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support daily banking and treasury management by tracking cash balances and recording transfers.
• Post investment transactions and income in the investment accounting system.
• Complete reinsurance reconciliations, billings, and payments.
• Assist with SEC reporting, statutory loss and investment reporting, analyses, and ad hoc accounting tasks.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting at a four-year college or university.
• Anticipated graduation between Fall/Winter 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Must be able to work onsite in the Richfield, Ohio office during Summer 2027.
