Senior Financial Navigating Specialist (Healthcare)

Location: Onsite at Ardent - UT Health Pittsburg in Pittsburg, Texas; applicants must reside and be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $20.45–$22.50 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

• Guide patients through financial obligations from admission through post-discharge.
• Review benefits, estimate out-of-pocket costs, arrange payments, and support Medicaid screening and financial assistance.
• Calculate patient liability estimates, collect point-of-service payments, and resolve billing and coverage inquiries.
• Maintain accurate account documentation and provide education and problem resolution.
• Monitor trends, prepare operational reports, and support process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with case management, social workers, physician liaisons, and other personnel while meeting department KPIs.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in multiple revenue cycle areas, such as financial counseling, customer service, Medicaid advocacy, public benefits, or eligibility services.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes and client-specific payment models.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and patient-facing skills.
• Must reside and be authorized to work in the United States.
