Reliability Test Development Engineer (Semiconductor): Implementing, monitoring, and analyzing laboratory-based reliability tests for semiconductor component development and qualification with an accent on test setup validation, instrumentation, burn-in systems, and results synthesis. Focus on executing qualification campaigns, diagnosing anomalies, optimizing laboratory equipment, and developing hardware and software for burn-in boards.

Location: Nantes, France; travel required up to 25% of the time

What you will do

Define, prepare, and validate reliability test setups using laboratory equipment.
Execute semiconductor reliability test campaigns according to qualification plans and internal standards.
Configure instrumentation, monitor test execution, and ensure laboratory tests run correctly.
Analyze test results, identify deviations or anomalies, and propose corrective actions.
Prepare and publish test reports and result summaries for project teams and internal stakeholders.
Optimize laboratory reliability equipment and improve test methods and procedures.

Requirements

Engineering degree or equivalent in electronics, microelectronics, materials science, or applied physics.
Experience with reliability testing, qualification, or characterization of electronic or semiconductor components.
Experience managing reliability burn-in ovens and developing burn-in boards, including software and hardware development, programming, and debugging.
Proficiency with laboratory equipment and data acquisition systems, plus strong technical analysis and results-synthesis skills.
Good technical English is required, including communication with international, multidisciplinary teams.
Meticulous, organized, autonomous, proactive, and effective at communicating technical results.

Nice to have

Knowledge of semiconductor reliability standards such as JEDEC and AEC-Q100.
