Production Planner (Manufacturing)

Location: Penang, Malaysia; onsite

Production operations focused on coordinating materials, work orders, schedules, and delivery commitments for customer orders.

What you will do

• Review customer purchase orders and commit delivery dates to the Sales Department.
• Release work orders based on Sales Order Details and provide production schedules.
• Update material shortage reports, advise on order quantities, and coordinate raw-material delivery dates with Buyers.
• Issue Material Issue Notes to the Warehouse and monitor material fulfillment and work-in-progress utilization.
• Ensure work orders are completed accurately and on time while monitoring production output against customer requirements.
• Resolve raw-material issuance issues, investigate excess materials, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

• Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent qualification in Economics, Business Studies, Administration, Management, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
• Ability to coordinate sales orders, work orders, production schedules, materials, warehouse preparation, and delivery commitments.
• Experience or capability in monitoring production capacity, material fulfillment, and production output.
• Mandarin fluency is preferred for interaction with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
