What you will do

• Lead communications and public affairs activations for the Japan haematology portfolio.
• Contribute Japan market insights to global therapeutic-area strategies, narratives, and messaging.
• Translate complex scientific data into clear content across earned, owned, and paid channels.
• Adapt global campaigns and materials for local market impact, including disease awareness and product communications.
• Support product launches, priority growth brands, stakeholder engagement, and value narratives related to access, reimbursement, and policy.
• Monitor media, stakeholder, and competitive landscapes and use analytics to improve communications effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree is a plus.
• At least 8 years of experience in communications, public affairs, or a related field in Japan.
• Experience supporting global or regional communications strategies and product or portfolio communications.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed global environment and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong English and Japanese writing, editing, and storytelling skills required.
• Experience with media, digital, and integrated communications campaigns, plus strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
