AI Automation & Operations Lead (AI)

Location: Remote from the Philippines; working hours will include required US time-zone overlap.

What you will do

• Identify repetitive, manual, and inefficient workflows across Nucleus business units and prioritize automation opportunities.
• Design and implement AI-powered workflows using large language models, APIs, webhooks, integrations, scripts, and no-code or low-code platforms.
• Improve CRM and relationship-tracking systems, including contact enrichment, lead scoring, relationship insights, and introduction tracking.
• Build lightweight internal tools, interfaces, dashboards, search systems, and knowledge tools where existing platforms are insufficient.
• Test, monitor, troubleshoot, document, and maintain automations, adding human-review safeguards where needed.
• Train nontechnical stakeholders, gather feedback, and drive adoption of new workflows and responsible AI practices.

Requirements

• At least three years of relevant experience in automation, AI implementation, operations, product, business systems, software development, or a related field, or equivalent practical portfolio experience.
• Experience building working automations that solve real business problems and practical experience with generative AI and large language models.
• Ability to connect applications through APIs, webhooks, native integrations, automation platforms, scripting, or lightweight development.
• Strong process-mapping, problem-solving, communication, testing, and independent project-delivery skills.
• Ability to understand business needs before selecting technical solutions and communicate effectively with nontechnical stakeholders.
• Availability for required US time-zone overlap.

Nice to have

• Experience building or managing CRM, relationship intelligence, lead enrichment, or recommendation systems.
• Experience with venture capital, professional services, events, communities, or relationship-driven businesses.
• Experience developing internal tools or lightweight web applications.
• Familiarity with databases, structured data, data-cleaning workflows, JavaScript, Python, SQL, data privacy, security, and responsible AI practices.
• Experience with Zapier, Make, n8n, Airtable, Retool, Notion, HubSpot, OpenAI, Claude, or similar platforms.
