What you will do

  • Lead the identification, definition, and governance of key master data domains for China.
  • Design and operate MDM processes covering data models, hierarchies, reference data, lifecycle management, and system synchronization.
  • Drive the onboarding of China data assets into the enterprise data catalog and improve metadata quality, lineage, ownership, and discoverability.
  • Implement data governance, data quality, classification, access control, and compliant data usage practices.
  • Define AI and GenAI governance frameworks, including responsible AI, model risk, explainability, fairness, security, and model lifecycle controls.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and feedback management to drive adoption of data and AI governance practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in data management, data governance, MDM, change management, or related data roles, including leadership responsibility.
  • Strong practical and conceptual expertise in master data domains, hierarchies, reference data, and stewardship.
  • Experience leading or influencing regional or enterprise-level data governance, AI governance, and data quality programs.
  • Experience with data catalog and metadata management tools such as Purview or Collibra.
  • Understanding of cloud data platforms and environments, including Azure or AWS and technologies such as Snowflake or Databricks.
  • Ability to work with senior business leaders, technical teams, internal clients, and global stakeholders in matrixed environments.
