Consultant - Analytics Engineer

What you will do

• Gather business needs and design suitable analytics tools, data models, workflows, dashboards, APIs, and exports.
• Build robust and scalable dimensional data models.
• Develop and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines between data sources and analytics platforms.
• Industrialise data products by ensuring maintainability, documentation, adoption, and reliable performance.
• Implement data governance practices covering quality, traceability, and monitoring.
• Support users, contribute to internal training and R&D, and participate in client delivery from diagnosis through production rollout and change management.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an engineering or business school, with a specialisation in data science, statistics, or marketing.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in the data field.
• Advanced SQL and data transformation skills, with strong dimensional modelling and schema design experience.
• Experience with at least one cloud environment: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, plus Git, CI/CD, and analytics testing.
• Fluent English is essential. Business proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Terraform, Snowflake, Redshift, dbt, or Airflow.
• Understanding of business challenges and the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Interest in marketing, finance, logistics, energy, transport, industry, or CSR.
