Academy Trainee

Location: Hybrid placements across London, Nottingham, Bury St Edmunds, and York, United Kingdom. Training is full-time, 9 am–5 pm Monday to Friday, either at the London Victoria office or virtually.

Salary: £30,000 starting salary during the two-year paid placement, plus bonuses.

What you will do

• Complete nine weeks of expert-led training in software engineering, DevOps, data, change, and related technology areas.
• Develop technical, interpersonal, and professional skills for a career in technology.
• Complete a two-year full-time paid placement with one of the programme’s partner employers.
• Build practical experience in potential roles such as Data Analyst, AI Developer, Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, Software Developer, or Business Analyst.
• Participate in mentoring, career coaching, networking events, and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Full-time availability is required for training from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
• No previous professional experience is required.
• Applicants may be school or college leavers, degree holders from any field, or career changers.
• Demonstrated motivation to begin a technology career and the ability to learn new technical skills independently.
• Successful applicants must complete the placement full-time in one of the listed United Kingdom locations.
