Senior Manufacturing Engineer (MedTech)

Location: Fully onsite in Añasco, Puerto Rico, United States; up to 10% travel required.

What you will do

• Lead and execute moderate- to high-complexity manufacturing engineering projects and programs.
• Optimize process output and throughput, equipment utilization, downtime, waste, yield, standard cost, budgets, and capital investments.
• Provide technical support for process deficiencies, process changes, equipment modifications, failures, and daily manufacturing-line troubleshooting.
• Analyze process trends such as yield and OEE to identify improvement opportunities and support business results.
• Maintain engineering, equipment, and process procedures while supporting GMP audits and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with production teams, suppliers, machine manufacturers, and other departments; train operators and engineers on process and validation requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment, R&D, or process development.
• Proven experience with validation cycles, including FAT, IQ, OQ, and PQ.
• Fully bilingual Spanish and English required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to follow SOPs, GMPs, company policies, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Minitab or other data analysis tools.
• Medical device or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Project management experience.
