Network Engineer III (Cisco)

Location: Bryan, Texas, United States; restricted to U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents

Salary: $5,186.75–$7,552.17 per month, commensurate with experience

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate design activities for complex enterprise networking projects.
• Review network design, installation, testing, and certification plans.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, track, and repair complex enterprise data communication network problems.
• Oversee network engineering documentation, audits, methods, procedures, problem records, and repair records.
• Coordinate new technology deployments, system integration testing, technology evaluations, and implementation recommendations.
• Coordinate work plans and schedules with project leaders, clients, system administrators, contractors, and vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of related experience.
• Senior-level networking certification; Cisco certification is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco networking and enterprise network security monitoring and maintenance.
• Strong analytical, written communication, interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work outdoors, lift 40 pounds, and occasionally work outside normal office hours.

Nice to have

• Active SECRET-level or higher security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
