Vx-New Vaccine Portfolio Planning Senior Manager (Vaccines)

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional launch excellence planning and execution for new vaccine products, setting readiness milestones, accountability frameworks, and timelines.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and launch roadmaps covering customer segmentation, channels, pricing, market access, and pre-launch activation.
• Monitor post-launch performance against KPIs, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions to accelerate peak sales and improve commercial outcomes.
• Coordinate the vaccine portfolio’s 10-year Country Strategy Plan, including forecasts, database maintenance, business reviews, and competitive product analysis.
• Collect and analyze market intelligence on competitors, local manufacturers, policy changes, and pipeline developments to produce actionable business insights.
• Assess new vaccine opportunities for China and align global and local stakeholders on business strategy, potential, and sales forecasts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in medicine, pharmacy, biology, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or vaccine industry, with a background in marketing, market strategy, or new product planning.
• Experience leading or significantly contributing to at least two successful vaccine or biologics launches in China.
• Hands-on experience with launch excellence planning, launch readiness assessment, and go-to-market execution.
• Deep knowledge of vaccine products, China and global market landscapes, and Chinese medical and biological product regulations and policies.
• Fluent English and Mandarin, with strong strategic thinking, analytical, project management, communication, and stakeholder alignment skills.
