What you will do

• Optimize production processes through data-driven continuous improvement.
• Analyze equipment and process failures and implement sustainable corrective actions to improve efficiency, productivity, cost performance, and quality.
• Develop maintenance concepts and improve equipment reliability and availability.
• Identify automation opportunities and assess equipment upgrades, expansions, and new machinery investments, including ROI calculations.
• Plan and coordinate plant modifications, machine installations, and commissioning projects.
• Manage capital investment budgets and support compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental, and Machinery Directive requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of Lean Management and/or Six Sigma.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with an independent and solution-oriented approach.
• Good working knowledge of SAP, particularly PP/MM modules, and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent German and good English, written and spoken, are required.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
• Business acumen, an entrepreneurial mindset, flexibility, and a proactive attitude.
