Lead IT Specialist (Healthcare IT)

Salary: $41,700–$104,200 annualized base pay

What you will do

• Resolve client IT issues submitted by phone, email, or service tickets.
• Install, configure, maintain, and deploy desktop and laptop software and hardware.
• Troubleshoot workstation, server, network, application, wireless, printer, and mobile-device issues.
• Administer Active Directory accounts and security groups, Exchange mailboxes, network drives, and RDP/Citrix access.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, service-ticket records, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate team activities, guide and mentor IT staff, prioritize workloads, manage escalations, and communicate planned changes or outages to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• At least five years of help desk or similar IT support experience.
• IT management experience.
• Experience supporting healthcare systems, including electronic medical records, imaging systems, and document management.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, CFR Part 11, GDPR, or similar healthcare compliance requirements.
• Availability for occasional work after clinic hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays.

Nice to have

• CompTIA certification.
• Microsoft Technology Associate, Microsoft MCSA, or Citrix certification.
