TL;DR
Specialist - IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (Cybersecurity): Building and maintaining IT governance documentation, policies, reporting artefacts, and improvement processes in UAE banking with an accent on stakeholder coordination, quality control, and operational compliance. Focus on resolving cross-functional issues, implementing departmental initiatives, and configuring and troubleshooting IT and communications systems.
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Employment status: Fixed term for 3 years

What you will do
- Create, maintain, and improve functional and technical documents, communications, and IT-related policies.
- Organize stakeholder meetings, workshops, and issue-resolution activities.
- Support mini-projects and initiatives through successful implementation.
- Produce and improve reporting artefacts using Jira, Excel, Planview, and ADCB systems.
- Identify and implement process improvements in line with departmental standards.
- Manage and motivate team members participating in change initiatives, programmes, and projects.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in an IT department.
- At least 1 year of people management experience.
- Experience inspecting work and maintaining quality control standards.
- Ability to train others in proper and safe work procedures.
- Experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of IT and telecommunications systems.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot network hardware, communications equipment, operating systems, computers, and peripherals.
