Principal Security Engineer (Crypto / Digital Assets)

Location: Hybrid in Dubai or Limassol, Cyprus

What you will do

• Own security for the crypto platform’s custody and on-chain layer across architecture, engineering, operations, and regulatory assurance.
• Lead security controls for spot trading, custody, staking, and on-chain services.
• Define crypto-specific requirements for cloud, application security, IAM, and SOC capabilities owned by central security teams.
• Partner with central security teams on delivery without duplicating their ownership.
• Work closely with risk, compliance, product, and engineering teams.
• Report into the central security function.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in the crypto and digital-assets domain.
• Senior, hands-on security engineering experience.
• Experience securing digital-asset custody and on-chain platforms.
• Strong understanding of key-management risks and the controls required to mitigate them.
• Ability to address regulatory assurance requirements in a regulated business.
