Salary: $178,500–$257,833.33 per year

What you will do

• Lead the global Transgenic Model & Technology function and advance genome engineering and mouse genetics capabilities.
• Design and execute transgenic and CRISPR-based strategies for target validation, proof-of-concept, and efficacy studies.
• Advise in vivo and preclinical research programs across immunology, immuno-inflammation, rare diseases, neuroscience, and oncology.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, therapeutic divisions, sites, external partners, model providers, CROs, and academic collaborators.
• Oversee project management frameworks, licensing agreements, partnerships, budgets, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff while contributing to hiring, promotions, performance evaluations, and organizational development.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Developmental Biology, or a related discipline.
• Extensive post-doctoral or industry experience in mouse molecular genetics and transgenic animal model development, including at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
• Deep expertise with CRISPR/Cas9, Cas12, base editors, prime editors, and other advanced genome engineering systems.
• Experience leading scientific programs, transversal teams, and complex multi-stakeholder projects in an academic, pharmaceutical, or biotech research environment.
• Strong project management, contract negotiation, vendor management, budget planning, and financial management skills.
• Willingness to travel as part of the position.

• Experience across immunology, oncology, rare diseases, or neuroscience.
• Experience applying AI and digital technologies to biological research, model design, or data analysis.
