Design Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Cavriago, Torino, Robassomero, or Bolzano, Italy

Starting salary: €32,000 per year

What you will do

• Create 3D models for powertrain components and assemblies according to project and CAD guidelines.
• Develop 2D CAD drawings for manufacturing using applicable standards and current production technologies.
• Perform data quality, plausibility, design, package, assembly, and manufacturability checks.
• Maintain component documentation in the hirify.global PDM System and Powertrain Database.
• Support lead engineers, project managers, resident engineers, customers, and suppliers during project execution and procurement.
• Assist with training, knowledge-management, and patent documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Practical experience designing powertrain or vehicle components.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD systems, specifically Catia and/or Creo.
• Experience defining and applying shape, orientation, and location tolerances.
• Knowledge of applicable automotive industry standards and processes.
• Good to advanced English language skills.
