Branch Banking Leader

Location: New Hyde Park, NY 11040, United States; onsite, full time

Salary: $59,085–$99,485 per year. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, commissions, or other awards.

What you will do

• Lead and coach a branch team to achieve growth targets for deposits, loans, and non-interest income.
• Develop business opportunities, support sales initiatives, and connect clients with the appropriate banking specialists.
• Train, mentor, evaluate, and develop staff while managing succession planning and performance-related processes.
• Build a strong client-experience culture through client engagement, education, and tailored solutions.
• Identify and resolve branch-operation and client-satisfaction issues.
• Maintain operational excellence and help teams identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, employee, and client risks.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of overall branch sales experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an undergraduate degree is preferred.
• NMLS registration is required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and applicable regulations.
• Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate across functions, build trusted relationships, and prioritize competing demands.
• Ability to perform moderate physical activity, including standing, sitting, walking, driving, and infrequent lifting.
