Consensys is the leading blockchain and web3 software company founded by Joe Lubin, co‑founder of Ethereum. MetaMask builds widely used wallet and multi‑platform products (Browser Extension, Mobile, Portfolio) to enable users and developers in Web3.

Open to candidates in EMEA; applicants based in France, Italy, or Germany cannot be considered.

Responsibilities:

- Contribute to MetaMask's social expansion and multi-chain user experiences
- Unify, enhance and transform experiences across Portfolio, Browser Extension, and Mobile to support social features
- Coordinate and communicate with other experience teams to deliver complex projects
- Mentor junior engineers and elevate engineering quality across teams

Requirements:

- 6+ years working with web and mobile technologies
- Hands-on experience with React and React Native
- Extensive experience with modern JavaScript (ES6/TypeScript)
- Knowledge of blockchain fundamentals across multiple architectures
- Strong cross-platform/browser compatibility and large-scale app development experience (testing, linting, sensible abstractions)
- Experience with CI and web-based security best practices

Nice to have:

- Working knowledge of multiple blockchain protocols (EVM and non‑EVM)
- Experience with cross‑chain bridges, transaction lifecycle, or interoperability solutions
- Previous Web3 experience and product knowledge of the wallet space
- Experience in decentralized/distributed teams
- Mobile experience (Objective‑C, Swift)
