Snowflake AI / Cortex Data Engineer (Consultant) – Poland

Location: Warsaw, Poland. Hybrid working model with work from home and on-site presence at client or hirify.global offices for the majority of the week. Travel is required as needed for client-facing engagements.

What you will do

• Design and build AI-powered analytics applications natively on Snowflake.
• Build and deploy Snowflake Agents and AI-powered applications using Cortex Analyst and Cortex Search.
• Design and maintain Semantic Models and Semantic Views for accurate text-to-SQL and trusted retrieval.
• Develop secure, performant, enterprise-ready GenAI and LLM-based solutions with Python and SQL.
• Work with data scientists, engineers, and client stakeholders to turn complex questions into scalable self-service insights.
• Own the delivery of the workstream end to end as a Level 3 Consultant.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on Snowflake implementation experience in production engagements is required; candidates without Snowflake experience will not be considered.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex, Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, Snowflake Agents, and agentic workflows.
• Strong understanding of Semantic Models and Semantic Views.
• Strong Python and SQL skills for building, automating, and optimizing data and AI solutions.
• Experience with GenAI or LLM-based solutions and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or comparable practical experience.
• Fluency in English is required.
