Salary: $71,100–$79,400 per year

What you will do

  • Manage post-award financial and administrative processes for an assigned portfolio of grants and contracts.
  • Review federal and non-federal award terms, subawards, billing agreements, and sponsor requirements for completeness and compliance.
  • Set up and maintain accurate, audit-ready award records and authorized budgets in InfoEd.
  • Review grant application budgets, including fringe benefit, indirect cost, and shared service rates.
  • Prepare and negotiate award terms and subcontract agreements with sponsors and external project partners.
  • Coordinate with investigators, department administrators, Research Accounting, finance teams, and sponsors to resolve budget issues and support prior approvals and final reports.

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree.
  • 3–7 years of post-award grants management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, budgeting, grant procedures, and state and federal grant reporting.
  • Knowledge of changing federal and non-federal grant regulations, policies, and application technologies.
  • Must work remotely from a New England state and be available for occasional onsite work.
  • Ability to support compliance, award administration, and communications among investigators, departments, and sponsors.
