Manager of Automation (Bioanalytical Assays)

Location: Swiftwater, Pennsylvania, United States; U.S. and Puerto Rico residents only.

Salary: $85,500–$123,500 per year, based on demonstrated experience.

What you will do

• Design bioanalytical methods compatible with automation platforms, focusing on multiplexed ligand-binding assays.
• Lead method development, qualification, and validation for high-throughput clinical testing environments.
• Troubleshoot automated platform issues and collaborate with clinical testing groups and the Automation Center of Excellence.
• Plan and oversee daily laboratory or project operations, resources, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Monitor laboratory performance metrics, communicate results to senior management, and optimize operations.
• Support compliant testing, employee training, documentation, investigations, change controls, deviations, and CAPAs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or a related field and 3+ years of industry experience, or a master’s degree and 1+ years of industry experience in bioanalytical assay development, data analysis, and automation.
• Experience or familiarity with Hamilton automated platforms.
• Experience with ligand-binding assays such as ELISA, Luminex, or MSD.
• Knowledge of GXP practices and procedures, with strong analytical, technical, scientific, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines, develop efficient solutions, and act as a liaison between stakeholders.
