What you will do
- Manage plant operations against cost, profit, quality, and productivity objectives.
- Staff, coach, and evaluate the production management team, coordinating activities across shifts and functions.
- Develop or approve master production and shipping schedules.
- Manage production flow, output, cuts, yields, scrap, inventory, and production data.
- Establish quality standards, lead improvement initiatives, and manage plant maintenance activities.
- Monitor expenses, P&L results, budgets, safety practices, and compliance with OSHA and applicable laws.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience as a production manager or in an equivalent role.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as Epicor.
- Forklift operator certification is required.
- Working knowledge of shipping truck capacities.
- Ability to work onsite in Stafford, Texas and comply with plant safety, HR, and operational procedures.
