Product Manager (Payments)

Location: Mexico City or remote from Mexico; remote-friendly with at least 3 hours of daily team-time-zone overlap.

What you will do

• Lead the Payments product line in Mexico, focused on Variable Recurring Payments through Account-to-Account rails.
• Manage and mentor the operations team, improving efficiency through automation, engineering solutions, and data-driven processes.
• Drive product initiatives from ideation through MVP development, validation, production launch, and scaling.
• Define product vision, strategy, roadmap, and OKRs across the organization.
• Collaborate with providers, clients, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Finance.
• Analyze user behavior, market dynamics, and performance metrics to refine requirements and solve customer problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in fintech or payments.
• Experience working in the Mexican payments ecosystem and building products within Mexico.
• Experience founding, joining, or building a startup or product from 0 to 1.
• Strong technical foundation, including the ability to prototype or code MVPs and collaborate with engineers.
• Data-driven approach with experience extracting, analyzing, visualizing data, and creating dashboards.
• Experience leading teams, managing stakeholders, prioritizing work, and delivering measurable impact.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as a Software Engineer or Data Scientist.
• Experience using AI to transform work practices or build projects.
