Manager, Biostatistics - Hematology

Location: Tarrytown, New York, or Warren, New Jersey; four days per week onsite. Up to 25% travel may be required.

What you will do

• Collaborate with medical, clinical, regulatory, preclinical, programming, data management, and medical writing teams to design and analyze hematology clinical trials.
• Develop clinical study protocols and statistical analysis plans, selecting appropriate statistical methodologies.
• Analyze clinical trial and non-trial data to support program-level decisions.
• Partner with Statistical Programming on tables, figures, and listings for decision-making and regulatory reporting.
• Evaluate statistical software and identify opportunities to use novel statistical methods and tools.
• Prepare presentations and written reports, co-present findings, conduct research, and train non-statistical colleagues.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent in statistics or biostatistics with more than 2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, or an MS degree with more than 7 years of experience.
• Knowledge of drug discovery and development and the ability to integrate statistical concepts into development strategies.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies, experimental design, and clinical trial design.
• Expertise in statistical software such as R or SAS.
• Demonstrated influence, leadership, collaboration, critical thinking, time management, and communication skills.
