What you will do

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in psychology on a semester-by-semester basis.
• Engage students actively in the learning process.
• Provide student academic advising when assigned.
• Participate in university events and collaborate with faculty and other stakeholders.
• Conduct research and scholarship activities.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work for any US employer.
• A master's degree in psychology or a closely related field is required for undergraduate teaching.
• A doctorate degree is required for graduate teaching.
• Credentials must be approved by the university and recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
• At least 18 graduate semester credit hours in the subject area are required under SACSCOC standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.

Nice to have

• Ph.D. in psychology or a closely related field.
• Undergraduate or graduate teaching experience.
• Experience teaching online courses using research-based course design and delivery practices.
• A record of scholarly activity beyond terminal-degree requirements.
