Customs Expert – Classification & Origin Analyst

Location: Warsaw, Poland — hybrid work model with three days from the office

What you will do

• Apply EU customs classification rules to P&G products using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule and document the rationale for each classification.
• Maintain HTS classification data in company databases and prepare requests for Binding Tariff Information customs rulings.
• Collaborate with Material Owners and R&D to analyze product details and ensure accurate coding.
• Coordinate with external customs service providers on classification matters and act as a point of contact for customs-related issues.
• Support audits of customs declarations and payments, answer questions on origin rules, and monitor regulatory changes.
• Contribute to projects that simplify and digitize customs processes.

Requirements

• Experience with HTS customs classification and origin rules.
• Practical knowledge of EU customs regulations for imports and exports.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, process-oriented, solution-driven approach.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Experience with MS Office and SAP.
• Advanced English required; CV must be submitted in English.
