2027 Accounting & Finance Development Program

Location: North Chicago, Illinois, with most first rotations in Lake County, IL; relocation outside Lake County, IL is required for one or two six-month rotations, and rotations may take place at other U.S. hirify.global locations. Global placements are also possible.

Salary: $58,656–$103,500 per year

What you will do

• Complete rotational assignments across commercial finance, operations finance, R&D finance, and corporate finance.
• Perform financial analysis, budgeting, planning, forecasting, reporting, and controls activities.
• Support manufacturing, supply chain, purchasing, research and development, and commercial operations.
• Gain exposure to accounting, FP&A, finance shared services, internal audit, investor relations, tax, global trade compliance, and treasury.
• Work cross-functionally in a matrix environment and participate in professional training sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting, with expected graduation between December 2026 and August 2027.
• Completion of at least three three-credit accounting courses by graduation, including cost or managerial accounting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in academic or professional settings.
• Leadership experience in a school or student organization, cumulative GPA of at least 3.00, and an unofficial or official transcript submitted with the application.
• Willingness to relocate outside Lake County, Illinois for one or two six-month rotations.

Nice to have

• Dual major or minor in a related field.
• Experience with data visualization, data analysis, predictive modeling, or analytical tools.
• Accredited Excel or data visualization certification or coursework.
• Project management experience and the ability to combine technical, business, and analytical expertise.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and a collaborative, adaptable, innovative, proactive approach.
