2027 Summer Internship – Portfolio Management - Special Situations Team, APAC

hirify.global is an active fixed-income investment manager investing client capital across public and private markets, including complex debt and credit opportunities.

What you will do

• Analyze and underwrite complex investments in the asset-backed finance space across APAC jurisdictions.
• Develop and maintain cash flow models for potential and existing investments.
• Prepare investment memos for senior portfolio managers and investment committees.
• Support due diligence, including business plan reviews and coordination of legal, technical, and commercial underwriting.
• Assist with financing activities, evaluating financing options and coordinating negotiations with lenders.
• Conduct market research to identify new investment themes.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• On track to achieve at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Business proficiency in English is required.
• Must be available for the full 10-week internship program from early June to mid-August.
• Must be able to begin full-time employment at a hirify.global office between January and August 2028.
• Strong research, basic financial modeling, communication, judgment, work ethic, and ability to manage multiple projects are required.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in an Asian language.
• Previous internship experience in private equity, a hedge fund, or investment banking.
• Experience using emerging technologies and AI tools in work or academic projects.
