Mission Success Lead, UA (Defense Technology)

What you will do

• Build a deep understanding of military unit needs, combat experience, and frontline operating conditions.
• Collect, document, contextualize, and escalate user feedback through videos, reports, and structured requests.
• Develop expert knowledge of the product portfolio, its limitations, and effective use cases in frontline conditions.
• Identify, generate, and validate product ideas, integrations, and partnerships based on operational needs.
• Coordinate military units, engineering, operations teams, and partners from need identification through deployment, testing, handoff, and impact assessment.
• Maintain a prioritized tracker of requests and initiatives, support resource allocation, and build and lead the Mission Success team in Ukraine.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer success, mission support, or field operations within defense, aerospace, or deep tech.
• Strong understanding of military unit operations, communication, and decision-making; direct military experience or extensive collaboration with Ukrainian armed forces is advantageous.
• Existing relationships with military units, commanders, or decision-makers in the Ukrainian defense ecosystem.
• Ability to translate operational feedback into clear, actionable product requirements and manage complex multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Strong Ukrainian communication skills required; conversational English is sufficient.
• High ownership and comfort working in a fast-moving environment with real operational stakes.

Nice to have

• Experience with defense technology companies, volunteers, or procurement structures in Ukraine.
• Familiarity with FPV systems, including assembly, configuration, or operational use.
• Background in product management, systems integration, or field operations coordination.
