Agent, Inside Sales Support - Pet

Location: Remote in California; scheduled during operating hours from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PST Monday–Friday and 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT on Saturdays. Non-standard hours may be required.

Salary: $46,345–$80,700 annually; expected starting range: $46,345–$65,100.

What you will do

• Make outbound calls to existing pet-insurance members to resolve payment issues and retain business.
• Handle inbound calls, renewal inquiries, webchats, emails, and customer questions.
• Educate customers about pet health insurance and encourage new enrollments or plan upgrades.
• Investigate policy issues, prepare quotes, support plan changes, and apply payments in collaboration with other departments.
• Maintain accurate member information, quotes, follow-ups, and records in Salesforce, Reinsurance, and related CRM systems.
• Deliver professional, positive, and memorable customer interactions.

Requirements

• Must be based in California.
• Property and Casualty license required in all 50 states, with continuing education required to maintain licensure.
• Previous inside sales, help desk, or customer service experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to navigate policy issues, payment challenges, plan changes, quoting, multitasking, and workflow management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access; PowerPoint knowledge is a plus.
