Lead Application Analyst

Location: On-site at the Financial Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; candidates must be local or willing to relocate to the area. Only candidates legally authorized to work in the United States will be considered; employment-based visa sponsorship is not provided.

What you will do

• Develop and review work plans, timelines, workflows, demand forecasts, and technology project estimates.
• Monitor application health, logs, reports, and performance metrics; perform proactive maintenance and escalate issues to vendors.
• Define system requirements and resolve complex performance, capacity, reliability, and availability issues across hardware, software, and databases.
• Design and implement application changes, monitoring processes, and improvements for installations and upgrades.
• Lead strategic application platform planning and collaborate with Technology, the Project Management Office, business partners, senior management, vendors, and consultants.
• Lead the assigned team by coordinating processes, assigning work, and providing performance-management input.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree.
• At least 7 years of technology-related experience supporting a variety of applications.
• Advanced knowledge of application administration, processes, operations, and root-cause analysis involving hardware, software, and databases.
• Advanced training and certification in the application domain.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, customer service, and multitasking skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
