Lead Hardware Engineer

Salary: $115,290–$170,349 per year

What you will do

• Analyze, design, and develop conventional analog and digital circuits.
• Conduct moderate to complex design reviews and demonstrate product and circuit robustness.
• Develop hardware and system-level specifications.
• Write and analyze test plans, execute tests, and evaluate results for design reviews and project documentation.
• Prepare product documentation, project plans, and hardware design and test records.
• Lead hardware projects, coordinate activities with purchasing and manufacturing, and mentor engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of combined experience in at least two relevant areas.
• Experience with analog circuit design, analysis, and simulation.
• Experience with digital circuit design, analysis, and simulation.
• Experience with microprocessor and FPGA system design, data acquisition and mixed systems, communications interfaces, or switching power supplies.
• US citizenship is required.

Nice to have

• Electromagnetic compatibility and standards compliance experience.
• Hands-on prototyping experience.
• PCB layout experience.
• Knowledge of industrial controls, digital and mixed-signal electronics, three-phase and electric power systems, or electric utility telecommunications.
