Data Quality Analyst (AI)

What you will do

• Profile data, design and execute data quality rules, and monitor scorecards and dashboards.
• Investigate anomalies, assess business impact, identify root causes, and define remediation actions.
• Apply accurate, authorised, traceable corrections to production golden data and live customer-facing databases.
• Improve data ingestion pipelines and post-load validation to increase efficiency and reduce pipeline failure risk.
• Support remediation through SSIS and ETL workflows in collaboration with technology teams.
• Maintain documentation covering data quality rules, thresholds, lineage, corrections, remediation, and operating procedures.

Requirements

• Experience in data quality, data operations, BI, or MDM in data-critical environments; financial services experience is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, Excel, and SSIS or similar ETL tools.
• Advanced MSSQL skills, including DDL, DML, and TCL commands, with robust testing and QA of production scripts.
• Ability to develop stored procedures for detecting erroneous data and triggering automated corrections in production and live SQL servers.
• Knowledge of data governance principles, data quality frameworks, and regulatory expectations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with data quality tooling or data catalogues.
• A relevant degree in data, IT, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• DAMA/CDMP or Microsoft certifications.
