Head of OT & Product Cybersecurity (Automotive)

Location: Fort Mill, South Carolina, United States; hybrid schedule with 4 days per week in-office and 1 day remote. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

What you will do

• Lead the global OT and Product Cybersecurity function and define strategy aligned with regulatory, business, and engineering requirements.
• Own cybersecurity policies, standards, control frameworks, and technical requirements across manufacturing and vehicle security domains.
• Govern secure architecture design and implementation across vehicle programs.
• Oversee compliance and certification for products under UNECE R155/R156, the Cyber Resilience Act, ISO/SAE 21434, ISO 62443, and regional requirements.
• Establish and manage the global cybersecurity risk framework for manufacturing environments and vehicle products.
• Represent the organization to regulators, auditors, and certification bodies while ensuring risks and vulnerabilities are prioritized and mitigated.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in product security, OT security, embedded systems security, or industrial cybersecurity.
• Leadership experience in automotive, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience implementing and governing global cybersecurity compliance frameworks and vehicle cybersecurity type-approval requirements.
• Advanced cybersecurity certifications or skills, such as CISSP, ISO 21434, or ISO 62443.
• Applicants must be able to work in or relocate to Fort Mill, South Carolina, United States.

• Executive leadership or transformation management training.
