Adjunct Instructor - Political Science

Location: Texarkana, Texas, United States; courses may be delivered face-to-face, web-enhanced, hybrid, or online.

Compensation: $2,400 per undergraduate section with a master’s degree; $2,900 per undergraduate section with a Ph.D.

What you will do

• Teach Political Science courses as assigned, particularly PSCI 2305 U.S. Government & Politics and PSCI 2306 State & Local Government with an emphasis on Texas.
• Deliver courses in face-to-face, web-enhanced, hybrid, or online formats.
• Load course content, assessments, and lecture modules.
• Grade student work and meet with students.
• Submit grades and complete census, grading, and other course administration deadlines.

Requirements

• For undergraduate courses: a master’s degree in Political Science or a related field, including at least 18 graduate-level credit hours in the teaching discipline.
• For graduate courses: a doctorate or terminal degree in Political Science or a closely related field, including at least 18 graduate-level credit hours in the teaching discipline.
• Degrees and coursework must be from a regionally accredited institution.
• Submit a resume and/or CV, graduate-level transcripts, and at least two professional references.
• Employment is contingent on credential verification and completion of a criminal history investigation.
