Cost Analyst (Aerospace Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Maintain accurate costing and inventory data in the ERP system.
• Update project cost details and reconcile production orders, work-in-progress, cycle counts, and annual inventory counts.
• Review standard costs and Moving Average Unit Costs to support accurate inventory valuation and reporting.
• Build and improve costing reports for management and statutory reporting.
• Reconcile inventory sub-ledgers to the general ledger and prepare obsolete and slow-moving inventory reserve analysis.
• Support month-end processing, SOX controls, ERP testing, deployments, user training, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in general ledger and cost accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience with variance analysis and independent problem-solving.
• Experience ensuring compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Advanced Excel and solid Microsoft Office proficiency.
• For the New Zealand office, eligibility to access ITAR-regulated equipment and data is required; nationality checks and background checks will be conducted.

Nice to have

• CMA certification.
• Manufacturing, aerospace, or defence industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with Infor LN, Oracle, JDE, SAP, or a similar ERP system.
