Senior VP and General Manager (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Petersburg, Virginia, United States; onsite at the Civica manufacturing facility.

What you will do

• Lead, direct, and coordinate all operations at the Civica manufacturing site.
• Establish and build the site team and infrastructure.
• Set the strategic vision and lead long-range planning while maintaining focus on execution.
• Build a sustainable, cost-effective manufacturing operation aligned with Civica’s cultural tenets.
• Champion a safe working environment and the compliant supply of quality medicines.
• Support the qualification, regulatory, and operational work required to bring vial, pre-filled syringe, and pre-filled pen cartridge lines to full operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage complexity, conflict, stress, and crisis situations.
• Strong problem-solving and mediation skills.
• Experience leading manufacturing operations, teams, and site infrastructure.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with established policies and guidelines.
