Production Control & Scheduling Analyst Intern (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Analyze wafer start plans, work-in-progress movement, and production schedules.
• Monitor planning KPIs including cycle time, fab output, and backlog-to-start.
• Identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency and manufacturing performance.
• Collaborate with Fab Operations, Central Supply Planning, Business Finance, and Engineering.
• Support data validation and process automation initiatives.
• Build Power BI dashboards and reports using analytics and AI tools, then present findings and recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Remain in good academic standing throughout the internship.
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
• Available for a 16–24 week credit-bearing internship commencing January 2027 and lasting through the stated internship period.

Nice to have

• Prior related internship or co-op experience.
• Leadership experience in the workplace, academic projects, or competitions.
• Project management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing planning, supply chain, or semiconductor operations.
• Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional environment, with an interest in AI and emerging technologies.
