TL;DR
Legal Administrative Coordinator - Labor & Employment (Legal Administration): Providing administrative, secretarial, document processing, legal research, and case support for the Labor and Employment Practice Group with an accent on attorney support, document preparation, scheduling, and client service. Focus on coordinating complex legal documents, managing confidential information, supporting filings and business intake, and balancing multiple assignments in a fast-paced law firm environment.

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week as scheduled by the manager. Flexibility to work overtime is required.

Salary: $75,038.00–$97,457.00 annually.

What you will do

  • Provide administrative, secretarial, document processing, and practice-group support under the guidance of the Administrative Support Manager.
  • Manage assignments in BigHand, communicate task status, and request information or guidance when needed.
  • Edit and proofread correspondence, memorandums, reports, and other communications.
  • Coordinate calendars, appointments, meetings, conferences, travel arrangements, and attorney profiles.
  • Prepare redlines, signature packets, exhibits, schedules, and executed final documents.
  • Support time entry, business intake, invoices, expenses, printing, scanning, legal research, case support, and projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of administrative support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous law firm experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF software.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, multitasking, confidentiality, and client communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a client service team.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting a litigation practice, including state and federal court rules and filing procedures.
  • Strategic thinking and initiative in handling assignments and projects.
