Medical Director – Otolaryngology – Evicore - Remote

Location: United States Work at Home; 100% remote

Salary: USD 207,800–346,300 annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Complete time-sensitive, evidence-based medical necessity reviews using EviCore’s case management software.
• Conduct peer-to-peer consultations with referring physicians about the medical necessity and appropriateness of requested services or treatments.
• Use otolaryngology expertise to recommend alternative services or treatments when appropriate.
• Collaborate with more than 500 EviCore physician colleagues to support evidence-based patient care decisions.
• Complete structured remote training with trainers, mentors, and leadership.

Requirements

• Current, active U.S. medical license and eligibility to acquire additional state licenses as required.
• M.D. or D.O. degree and ABMS or AOA board certification in Otolaryngology.
• At least three years of relevant clinical experience after residency or fellowship.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, typing, technology, and computer skills.
• Availability for a fixed Monday–Friday weekly schedule.
• A company-provided encrypted workstation must be hard-wired to a modem or router; wireless connections are not permitted. Home internet must use cable broadband or fiber service with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds.
