Medical Director – Pediatric Otolaryngology – Evicore - Remote (Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology)

Location: United States Work at Home; 100% remote

Annual salary: USD 207,800–346,300, depending on experience and geographic location. Eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Complete time-sensitive, evidence-based medical necessity reviews for specialized pediatric otolaryngology cases.
• Use EviCore’s case management software to document and process medical reviews.
• Conduct peer-to-peer consultations with referring physicians about medical necessity and treatment appropriateness.
• Recommend alternative services or treatments when clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with more than 500 EviCore physician colleagues to support evidence-based patient care.
• Participate in structured remote training with trainers, mentors, and leadership.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. with a current, active U.S. medical license.
• ABMS or AOA board certification in Otolaryngology with the Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology subspecialty.
• At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience after residency or fellowship.
• Eligibility to obtain additional state licenses as required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, technology, and typing skills.
• Ability to work independently with computer applications and automated systems and commit to a Monday–Friday weekly schedule.
